The Facts About Electric Vehicles and Charging Stations

With 924,822 zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) on the road as of August 2021, California is the top market in the US as far as electric car sales, with 45% share of the country.

The executive order signed by Governor Newson on September 23, 2020 is expected to have a widespread effects on the auto industry, therefore helping ZEV sales quite a lot. In fact, in an effort to address climate change and air pollution, the State will require all newly sold light-duty vehicles to meet zero-emissions standards by 2035.

With California being such a large market, it is expected to influence which vehicles automakers offer across the US thus giving consumers more choices and more importantly, lower prices.

Because of the accelerating need of a charging infrastructure, Vector decided to join the state and local government in implementing the electric vehicle charging stations network necessary to sustain the swiping change from internal combustion engine cars to electric cars. We currently operate in the County of Los Angeles which counts 156,698 ZEVs (at the end of 2020) and we offer turnkey solutions to property owners and managers to install charging stations.
